What are Back to Hockey sessions?
Back to Hockey sessions are coached sessions for women and men who may not have played hockey for a long period of time or who are looking to try the sport for the first time. Our coached sessions will provide you with a great opportunity to learn/refresh your skills and play with like-minded people in a friendly and relaxed environment without the pressure to perform. It’s open to newcomers and those that participated in the last programme.
When, where and how much?
Where: College Meadow Astro @ Eltham College, Grove Park Road, SE9 4QF
When: FRIDAYS 8:00 – 9:00pm running for 8 weeks
Cost: £5 a session (covers pitch hire & contribution to coaching costs)
What do I need?
Sticks can be provided.
Suitable footwear (trainers/astros - we play on artificial turf).
Bring shin-pads and gum shield if you have them.
