The Men's and Ladies' 1s have been trialling the proposed new Club socks (home and away, as pictured above) since the beginning of the season, and have now given them the official thumbs-up after a couple of months of use ("Hurray!")

Even better news …

The new socks will now be available from O'NEILLS via the Club's web-shop for the same price as at present in a couple of weeks' time, rather than after Christmas as originally anticipated. This means they can be purchased online and delivered to your door in a matter of days, as will all other kit items. PLEASE NOTE: the new socks will only be available in adult size 9-12 as they are very stretchy and will therefore fit anyone's feet from shoe size 6 to 12. There are no plans to move to the new sock in any other smaller or junior sizes for the foreseeable future.

And in the meantime …

Should you need or merely wish to purchase existing socks urgently between now and December, you can buy a pair now for half-price or less from the Club by sending an e-mail to kit@blackheath.co.uk and asking the Kit Manager, as the residual stock is now being held here, not at O'NEILLS. Home or away socks can be bought for the following prices:

1) 1 pair for £4.00 (usual price £8.00);

2) 3 pairs for £10.00 (i.e. £3.34p per pair); or

3) team set of 15 pairs for £40.00 (i.e. £2.67p per pair).

For those members who actually like the old sock, this is a great offer, but it will only last as long as the stock does, so if you want/need some, get cracking.
