Match Preview

Teams: Burnt Ash x2; Blackheath x2; Canterbury x2 and Tunbridge Wells x2

Timing: Meet at 9.30am for 10am start; finish by 12pm

Location: Dartford Science and Technology College

Coaches: Sally Wallace and Paul Wright

Please bring: Red tops, gum shields, shin pads, water and snacks, sticks (please let me know if your daughter needs to borrow one)

Clothes: It will likely be cold. Please make sure your daughter has something under their red top that they can play in, ideally a "baselayer" or "skin"type top, but otherwise any long-sleeved T-shirt will suffice. We have had girls who put their red tops on first with a hoodie over the top - they are then understandably reluctant to take these off when we all need to be in red at game time.
Recommended clothing (in order): baselayer, red top, warm layer/hoodie, waterproof/windproof coat; thin gloves that still allow good"feel" for the hockey stick are a good idea, but if you don't have these, thick gloves are better than frozen fingers!; leggings and woolly hats also good options for those that feel the cold more.
