Hot of the press!

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning for our 1st league game and we were pumped.
As we took our positions, we were only faced with 10 of there players. However, this did not phase us and as the start whistle blew, we were straight on it. Blackheath started as hot as the sub was on fire. After a great series of passes a short corner was given and Karen calmly, yes calmly, shot the ball into the left corner for Blackheath’s 1st goal.
Lost of more quick passing helped us build up to the most of our goals and hungry Amanda and Robyn in the D slotted the other 3 goals away . Two from Amanda.
The defence were awesome and Old Boards could not penetrate them and get anything bar one short corner which they converted but they couldn’t do it again! Due to an amazing tackle from Kare. , but failing to give 5m led to a green card and a well needed 2 minute break.
Final score Blackheath win 4-1
