A comfortable 7-0 victory gives the Dynamos their first three points against a solid Ashford side as the 'crocks' return.

A very late Autumnal start down in deepest Kent didn't deter the Dynamos from being fresh out of the blocks and dominating this game from start to finish. It was an afternoon that saw two injury stricken players and a bustling Kiwi old boy make welcome returns to playing for this fine club.
Availability for this new development team for the 2014/15 season is always going to be varied with a mixture of youngsters, Vets, new players and 'Floaters' making up its ranks. The half term week proved no exception with a number of schoolboys and younger players n/a but a plethora of usually unavailable senior players plus some newbies ready to take up the challenge.
The team was superbly led by the returning BOE legend and 'unofficial VC' Adam Mulvanney. His injury laden BOE career over the last two seasons has seen his appearances severely restricted and although his back still isn't 100% right he still has great ability and deservedly bagged a hat-trick and MOTM award. He bossed the front line and the Club looks forward to him playing a significant part in the development and progress of the Dynamos after his second consecutive game. Young James Smith ran him a close second after another solid and confident display at CB. Alex Hayde from NZ also made a welcome return to the club after 5 years away and marked his season debut with a commanding performance at CH. He showed great promise and is an excellent addition the team and club. Can't stay away from BOE huh?! Tom Piesold who suffered a painful shoulder injury that devastated the second half of his season last time out showed he was back to full fitness and raring to go. He ran his socks off and once his match sharpness is back he'll be a force to be reckoned with and banging in the goals once again.

BOE started very positively and found themselves 2-0 up after 10 mins and never really looked back. Plenty of running and accurate passing left Ashford Antiques chasing shadows. Good team goals finished off by Rob Miller (2) and a fine solo effort from Chris Hall added to the Mulvanny trio to put BOE firmly in charge. Mo indulged in a bit of Air Guitar shooting (twice!) 2m from the goal to nab himself the DOTD award. Great and confident Umpiring from both Ashford officials helped the game flow and ensured it was played in good spirit. Next week should see the return of a number of youngsters who combined with the core of the squad on display today should have an enjoyable and competitive season.
