SENIOR SEADOGS FROM THE BAY SLASH OUR SAILS

Second match of the season for the Dynamos and we were again playing Herne Bay, However, there 5XI this week. From the outset, it was clear that Herne Bay's 5XI were a far stronger outfit than there 4XI. Having players who have clearly played higher up in their early years, the Oppo started the game with crisp passing. Nevertheless, it was the Dynamos who opened the scoring with a fine reverse stick finish from Harry Southgate. Several more chances were created by BOE, however, nothing clinical. The oppo had in their ranks a player who could ariel and they picked up two quick gaols from the high ball over the Dynamos defence which then turned into three before the break. Two more gaols in the second half from Herne Bay and the game finished 5-1 to the oppo. Although the score line did not reflect the chances and penalty corners created by the Dynamos, the pace of the game of the commitment to all those playing was an encouraging sign for the season ahead. On debut in goal for the Dynamos was Joe who had a fantastic first game for BOE and we all look forward to him gracing the pitch again in BOE colours. MOM was Chris for tireless running again.
