Our second away trip of the season saw the skipper donning the keeper kit due to a week with goalkeeper selection problems. A new addition of Toby P as well as returning old member Andy Cooke meant that the Dynamos had a balance of pace, experience and youth. At the start of the game the Dynamos had four school boys playing in Jake, Harry, Toby and Tom which is encouraging for the future, and all had fantastic games. Although the skipper was in goal with full kit, a kicking back could have been adopted due to the one sided nature of this game. Some fine passing and movement led to Toby finishing a great move and the away side were one up. Another fine move from the right saw Dan Ridge sneak in front of the keeper and expertly touch the ball into the net and away from the diving keeper. Another goal followed from Andy 'Cookie' Cooke and the lead at half time was 3-0 to the visitors. Chris French again provided tireless running and today saw Tony D'Cruz receive more game than the previous weeks. Although the oldest playing members of the Dynamos, Tony showed his class at times as well as a turn of speed. Two more goals followed from 'Cookie' to give him a hat-trick meant he went home with the match ball. Although the score could have been more, it was encouraging to see the youngsters combining well and playing with confidence. Both Jake and Tom who were playing as full backs made excellent tackles throughout and Harry and Toby combined well during the entire game. In summary, a great performance and joint MOM's for Dan Ridge and Andy Cooke.
Goals: Toby P, Dan Ridge and Cookie x3.
