Another away game and another 4pm push back was on the cards for the Dynamos this week. With limited keeper availability, the skipper made the decision to play the game as a kicking back for the first time. The weather was poor from the start with icy cold rain and limited visibility due to the time schedule of the fixture. Nevertheless, the mighty dynamos started the game with gusto. Although playing with a kicking back, it became clear that the oppo would not present a significant risk to the Dynamos goal. Lots of chances presented themselves to BOE, however, some fine and resilient keeping form the oppo kept the Dynamos at bay. The first score was needed and soon it arrived. Unfortunately, I lost count of who scored in each half and my apologies for being able to say who scored when. However, Ben Baker, Harry Southgate, Chris French and David Leverton all got on the score sheet. The final result was 4-1 to the Dynamos with Tom Farrant claiming man of the match. This was a good display again by the Dynamos to win five on the bounce, especially in such poor conditions. The score again however, did not reflect the chances created and with some more clinical finishing, the final goal tally should have been higher. Nevertheless, I cannot question the effort and commitment invested by all those involved and it bodes well for the future of the club with the youth of the side playing with such maturity and skill. Well done to all.
