Another early start and the weather gods were smiling on the Dynamos with glorious sunshine giving perfect hockey playing conditions. The oppo arrived and it was clear that they were short staffed for the game. So, in a example of good sportsmanship, BOE offered the oppo one of our players so that both sides could start with eleven on the pitch.
With the sides even in terms of players, the D's again started brightly and attacked from the off. Both Ben Baker and Andy Cooke (Cookie) up front provided the running and movement for the midfield to exploit the space they created, and the home side were rewarded with three early goals and a first half hat-trick for Cookie. The score was soon four nil with Cookie bagging another before a fine move down the right resulted in Chris lifting the ball over the keeper to make the score five nil. The final goal came from the skipper from a flick and the game ended six nil. A good result all round with Ben Corsie receiving his third man of the match award in successive weeks. Both Elliot Alger and Jake again impressed at full backs and Mike Earnshaw, Stu and Callum proving to be an impassable trio in midfield. Many thanks again to Tony Johnson for playing in goal and Andy for assisting the oppo. Today's result was fourteen straight wins in a row for the Dynamos and well deserved. Lets hope we clinch that promo.
