BEHC (2-3) Tunbridge Wells

The start of this chilly, early evening match saw a fine display of TWs youth and skill, with their very vocal coach encouraging their every move. It must be said that BEs were guilty of watching said skills, especially from behind said youth. But then a change of ends categorically put BEs in front of TWs in every way, with Cleona conspicuous in her sprinting, tackling and scoring superpower. She assisted Gina’s first goal, then made two amazing sprints with goals on top. This second half was a whole new ball game, even the supporters could be heard cheering through chilled lips. The whole team were inspired by those goals, with Emily and Cesca, Ciara and Melody changing into another gear, Heather and Juliette rebuffing many a challenger. It was a truly, heart-warming team display which also held off a late TW challenge.
Players of the Match went to all and Wally of the Match went to Heather for volunteering.
