A TOUGH MATCH BUT WINNING RESULT

BEHC faced Meopham who were one point above them on the table. A cheeky win meant a climb to 5th place!
We arrived at Avery Hill on a grey,damp and wet afternoon but fired up to get a win. Our opposition were just a point in front of us so there was all to play for.
We began brightly but were giving away silly passes and not talking enough but with plenty of encouragement from the sidelines and Mirza we began to settle into our game.
Holly was making some great runs down the middle with plenty of support from Jasmine and Mandy and it wasn't long before one of these paid off with a wonderful individual goal for Holly quickly followed up by a great shot from Mandy to make it 2-0 in the first half.
The second half began pretty much as we had finished the first with lots of passing and talking but with a break Meopham managed to score.
We quickly regrouped and headed straight down to their end where Jasmine smashed in a cracker from the top of the D straight into the bottom right corner to make it 3-1.
We continued to dominate the game and had a few more chances but unfortunately where unable to convert and with another break Meopham managed to get to our D and score a lucky goal to make the final score 3-2.
A well fought battle with a well deserved win.
