An efficient and workmanlike display from the 12 available BOE combatants did the job with goals at the end of each half to progress the Club into R3. They aren't always pretty or easy but a win is a win. More to follow...
An International away fixture to our opponents from last seasons final at Lee Valley: Guernsey awaits us next. Trains, planes and automobiles required to make the jaunty hop to the rock. Should be interesting.
And before you ask or I get more emails from members:
Yes Guernsey are playing in the EH Cup too... I don't know why.
And yes they do have club sides on the island so are technically like a County Side but are allowed to enter these Comps by EH
And yes they're likely to appear in their 6th Final in 6 years.
However, our job is to break that now so predictable EH Trophy cycle by playing better than we did in last seasons final, beat Guernsey and make a thousands of new friends then get to Lee Valley and win it this time.
