OXFORD BLUES

A tough encounter against the best team the Club has played this season. BOE faced a fit, fast, well drilled and tactically astute outfit. The team could've played much better and were left wanting in certain areas which will give Skipper and Coach plenty of food for thought and many elements to improve on. It was another topsy-turvy and challenging match in terms of the officiating with a flurry of cards as frustrations boiled over and hindered progress. It's also clear at this level every player must be on point, focused and fully committed for the full 70minutes otherwise the task is made doubly difficult. Some deep reflection is needed from some players. We can and will be much better.
Rob Hughes hobbled off with an injury (not the cause of the defeat) and his "meh..." expression sums up the mood. We need step up - every week.
