BOE right the wrongs of last week with an emphatic win over visiting South Saxons.

Absolutely schooled, cut open from the opening minute and there was never any let up, anyway, enough about Liverpool's little victory on Saturday afternoon.

BOE welcomed the well-travelled South Saxons to the Meadow on Saturday, after last week’s loss to Crawley and a rather 'intense' training session that the prisoners in Guantanamo Bay would have winced at, we were not going to let our fantastic league form suffer again.

With a full strength squad to choose from and an early push back with a bumper crowd of 12, BOE set about their task from the moment the whistle was blown.

The midfield three of Mike Lawrence, Jonny Bond and Richard Booth quickly got a hand on the throat of the game and went for the early kill.

In recent games we have been quick to change things so a decision was made to stay as you were for the first 15 minutes, it worked and by the time the first sub was allowed into the game, we were 3 - 0 up with a goal each from Mike Lawrence, Ryan Wallace and Fergus Parker.

With an injection of the fresh legs of Dave Lawrence BOE weren’t about to let off the gas, within minutes of coming on, Dave again bamboozled the defence of an opposition side to plant another world class goal in the net.

2 more goals from BOE before the break from Mike Lawrence and Jonny Bond meant BOE had a commanding lead of 6 - 0. A half time team talk from the visibly bored Coach Dunman was that we had an opportunity to do something that we have been capable of all season, really put a team to the sword.

The Second half began much the same, BOE got on the score sheet early to set us up for a run at a possible double figures score line.

The pressure was kept at a maximum by a fantastic BOE front line and midfield press. South Saxons were limited to very few runs into the BOE half, all of which were dealt with superbly by defence of Luke Kellaher, Rob Hughes, Tom Archer and Freddie Foster.

2 More goals from Mike Lawrence sent the now excited crowds into rapture, 9 - 0! Not long to find that 10th!

With about 10 minutes left, South Saxons were enjoying some good running up front, a 'stray' elbow from Captain Luke Kellaher resulted in his third yellow of the season, would the captain be the scurge of this BOE performance? ........nope, Mike Lawrence again stepped up to lash a drag past the unfortunate South Saxons keeper to seal our 10th and final goal in the best 1st eleven performance in 16 years!

BOE travel to Sutton Valance next week to push closer for that promotion that, judging on this performance, we fully deserve.
