Saturday saw Blackheath Ladies 1s face their Nemesis Marden Russets. Conscious that the last two clashes had resulted in a loss the team were keen to make their mark early. Attack after attack saw Marden Russets in their own 25 for first 15 minutes before Netty was able to slot a top d strike into Marden's special hole.
Goals followed shortly by Emma and Netty again before the end of the first half. A short blip at start of the second saw Marden pull back 2 goals, including a flick.
However any come back was soon quashed as Blackheath locked in the win with a short corner goal by Vicky and a great team goal finished by Emma.
