BEHC 1 (0-1) Canterbury 2

After a good team talk and a good warm up on the cold Saturday. The match started. The first half was very even with both teams having possession in the opposing teams D. With some great defensive work in the D with short corner after short corner the score stayed 0-0. With some great crosses into the D by Lotta we had chances on goal just couldn’t get them past the goalie. Canterbury had a late break and managed to sneak a goal past Sarah.
After a tough team talk at half time and stuff to improve on the second half started. With good movement round the back and to the midfielders we had more chances in the final quarter we just couldn’t convert to goal. More great defensive work with many short corners. Throughout the second half the umpires were giving out cards left right and centre. Some harsh decisions. With 9 players set on the pitch in the final 5 minutes we managed to keep the score at 1-0 and nearly scored in the final minutes.
Not our best weekend. But will back with a win next week
