Blackheath L1’s suffered 0 – 2 loss to East London but are still second in the league.

It was a disappointing result for the L1’s at the weekend who seemed a little lethargic against East London. Unfortunately the team didn’t make a sustained impact in the game to convert their attacking play into goals, although they did come close to scoring a couple of times.

During the match stick tackling became rife from both sides with players receiving green cards (Biggsy no more please even if it was taking a card for the team ha ha!). Hopefully next time the L1’s play East London the team will play at the higher level they know they are capable of. The team’s spirit and drive to perform will no doubt shine through as always.

The East League is proving to be close run at the top of the table so it would be great to finish the first half of the season with another 2 wins and 6 points – come on ladies!
