BEHC started well following a slick team talk from Jen - having given up on listing the team's many areas for improvement and just focusing on 4 seemed to do the trick ?
The first 10 minutes saw BEHC perform some persistent attacking moves down both flanks eventually leading to a short corner that Sally deflected in style. 1-0.
Once the scoring had opened Charlie followed with another goal soon after. A strike from top right deflected clinically into the net. 2-0.
Silky skills (Charlie) then set up Jenna for a second deflection to take the game into half time. 3-0.
An aerial push back attempt from George commencing the second half lead to some positive attacking play for Kings. However BEHC's defence held strong and soon regained possession.
BEHC's defence continued to switch the ball well in response to Kings half court defending and a short corner then ensued. Jilly drag flicked it expertly home from a left slip manoeuvre. 4-0.
Brighty, as ever, was required to make a couple of super saves to keep the score sheet one-sided naturally keeping Coach J. Seale on her toes. But with top notch reflexes, Brighty made sure the ball didn't cross the line.
Jenna then returned the earlier set up to Charlie on the P spot who swept the ball in on her reverse. 5-0.
Captain Kate feeling there was still some goals left in the team stepped up confidently to straight strike the next short corner - as intended she smashed it goalward with precision.
Final score 6:0.
