The day the four-step plan worked like a charm

It really did.

After a disappointing result last week, the BEHC L1s were rearing to go and get back to their winning ways. Following another clear four-step plan from Coach J. Seale, they knew what they needed to do.

The team practiced what they had worked on at training. The ball moved nicely around the pitch to the 25 yard line to Vicky who managed to stay on her feet - just this once - and wove her way around the defence to get a shot off from the top of the D. Saved by the keeper, silky skills Charlie managed to deflect it back into the goal. 1-0 Blackheath.

BEHC kept up the pressure. Mighty Meghann made a cracking run up the side line and a precise ball into the D found Jenna's stick. 2-0. The BEHC L1s were back on form.

Into the second half and the team were determined to secure the win. After several frustrating short corners that went to plan but without the ball wanting to go in, Captain Kate took the reins and a clinical strike from the top meant the team went three nil up. YAS.

The last three minutes saw a lapse of concentration from BEHC. Old Bords seized the opportunity and placed the ball back of the net. But did it really happen? George had no idea!

Final score 3-1 to the Blackheath Ladies.

DOD: Vicky - late attendance, wrong shirt, wiping out the oppo...the list was endless.

MOM: Mighty Meghann for being AWESOME.
