Not quite cutting the mustard…
Oh well, we only lost 1 – 6!
Lets focus on the positives of our deep runs, triangles and transfers across the pitch.
Diffusing a so-called “situation” after a tackle, the umpire took Jen aside for a quick chat which led to her receiving the TfC (DoD) award.
With the team down 0 – 3 at half-time, they kept pushing on.
It was time to get one back… Nell, our MoM, stepped up and scored a cracker.
Looping aerials from the oppo were dealt with well along with their half court press.
Lot’s of pressure was put on the defence, especially Zoe when one of the oppo decided to lay on top of her…
I can only blow what I see, said the umpire, and gave a short corner against us!
Everyone felt a bit deflated by the end but we are only two games into the league and have a lot more to come…
So we go again next week and keep striving for a win!
