Robyn, having taken a couple of warm-up shots, complemented the fervour, composure and determination of the whole team by scoring a goal with a delicate push around the advancing goalie, making the team so very, very happy and causing the Holcombe heads to drop from then until the end of the second half. Yanoulla and Karen deserve special mention as they controlled their pitch sides with consummate professionalism. Becks rendered the Holcombe attackers impotent on many an occasion with some amazing moves. Everybody worked in sync and it was a clockwork piece of showmanship culminating in a very welcome win for Blackheath.
Yanoulla and Karen were voted Players-of-the Match whilst Captain Nat who also made a considerable contribution, took Olaf home for the week.
