Harriet and Karen were voted ladies of the Match against BBHC for standing out amongst a team that all shone brightly in the chilly sunshine. Harriet scored a goal that almost left her speechless, a bit like her pain-riddled agony stomp when a ball connected with her shin, but the goal was disallowed.
The initial fifteen minutes of Blackheath fire however turned into a ten minute fizzle when BBHC scored two goals. This brought Blackheath to a boil and from then on everyone played above and beyond, with Beth scoring a beautiful goal starting right field and ending dead centre of the goal. She took a tumble ably assisted by a BBHC player and deftly had words, we think, for which Olaf was awarded to her way for the elegant reprimand of an irate opposite.
Blackheath could have won but lost 1-2.
