Well Rob certainly motivated the Blackheath squad to higher heights as they brought all skills and confidence to bear against this Brom Beccs side. A great shot from “It’s not about me” Harriet found Hannah who scored a beautiful first goal. This motivated the team beyond the disappointment of BB’s equaliser, to work hard at stopping BB attacks, enabling Blackheath to penetrate into their goal area, once with a great piece of stick and foot work by Netty, who passed to Gina who scored through the ‘keepers pads and a third with a fantastic run by Kate P down the right wing, shooting from virtually the back line to an awaiting Gina, third goal and a win sealed.
Well done team and thank you Rob for staying with us for far too long and preparing us so very, very well.
