It was cold .........................

Blackheath’s match was gruelling and many many things.

Injuries from high, hard and wayward balls occurred, apparently, Hannah being a regular recipient of pains sharply. Harriet’s arm near removed at the ankle and Gina (match reporter) probably concussed. But soon Olaf was dribbling the ball like, like a dribbler, passing it to Kat, Kat passing instantly to Netty who scored a beautiful foal. Instant joy, 1-0 up already!

Beccs loomed large in her garden with all her gnomes digging deep and stopping earthworms scoring on many an occasion. The sods were flying as all the defenders rebuffed, regurgitated and recycled on the grass-like pitch. Beccs being chief gnome did gnomic things to startle both sides. She really had an extra glug of Baby Bio through her helmet, photosynthesising much starch in her wake.

Nat took charge second part of the second half and became a defender with Harriet the sister, a forward. Harriet made a sprint but did not quite make it to a most certain tri despite her injury and best efforts.

Many players were there and IT RAINED COLD but Marden’s Russets used their sticks and things and put in 2 goals so Blackheath did not win but Olaf danced about the clubhouse and three people were very very good. Tired now.

Final score Blackheeth, 1-2.
