Blackheath Ladies 2's V Ashford

This match report was written as a collective from the whole team:

The game started with drama when Georgie was stuck on the hand by a wild shot which meant changes to the defence whilst treatment was sought!
The 2’s played as team, with lots of triangle passes around the opposition.
Some players out of their usual position, tried hard but showed why they are more of natural defender (massive air swing shots at goal!)
We put the opposition under considerable pressure by setting up quickly, leaving them nowhere to go!
Lots of nice passes around the back created space and great chances from which short corners and free hits won!
Second sport being played by some, great Netball skills Karen!
First goal: Short corner
A well planned and rehearsed push out from the short corner, with a quick pass to set up Netty for a clean crisp strike on goal! 1 – 0.
Second goal: Open play
Was a fantastic run, twist and turn which led to a strong hit towards the keeper by Karen – and through the mass of defenders and attackers to hit the back of the net! Goal 2 – 0!
