HORSING AROUND

Things were a bit racy down BOE Hockey Club way. Preparations were going in tandem as ladies 2nd X1 met Burnt Ash and the Race Night elves prep’d for the evening’s social event of the month. The scoring libido of Blackheath was in no doubt as the magnitude of the team’s desire surged from backs to mids, to forwards. Blackheath’s consummate coach Rob readied his coterie before dashing off to the frosty, fields of Sussex. He was rewarded in absentia as they all performed with plenty of desire, Nat conspicuous in her insatiability (Man-o-Match) and Harriet eventually falling languorously to the ground having thwarted many an unwanted advance (a richly deserved ‘Thanks for Coming’ performance). There were multiple penalty corners, all unrequited and alas, the game remained 0-0, Netty’s many drives somehow going unanswered with early disappointments, her ardour subsiding, but not extinguished entirely due to the flame-retardant coating of her ‘Thanks for Coming 2nd’ suit.
