This has always been a tough fixture and today was no exception as some very young saplings were playing under the mighty shadows of four ‘Oaks. Blackheath was first to score with a calm goal by Lydia, Sevenoaks responded, 1-1. Gina turned up the heat with her first goal slipped passed a busy goalie, then her second secured with a bit more force. Sevenoaks also scored at what was fast becoming a polite society V polite society event. Was the match destined to end in a non-controversial draw or would Blackheath’s air of primitive wildness shake things up? Whilst Blackheath considered, Several Acorns broke away from their masters’ plan and scored, twice. Pretensions to gentility now dropped, Blackheath got mucky, culminating in a goal from Robyn and another from Netty.
