For sundry actions hopefully missed stick hard to adjudicators.
No matter how you score or tackle, they clock the misdemeanours.
They even made me count-up those who’ve earlier won the suit
My big reveal was a slow peel, oh look I’ve won, what a hoot.

For the match was hot and hard and fast, everyone was amazing
Lucy scored a penalty and a goal that went in a blazing.
Nat passed balls aplenty, “Fore!” on one big notable swing,
Many moments best left unsaid yet Yeh! I cinched the win.

I stopped a ball in front of goal and then I went a blank.
I could not tell my red from white, my scoring ardour sank.
Tried to take the ball back out, hoping it went undetected.
But that was quite enough it seems as all others were then rejected.

So, we won 3-0 and fought so well, kept going till the ending.
Lydia made such awesome runs whilst Kat did non-stop wending.
Netty did not score alas, her mojo lacking emotion.
Gina did despite her fleeting temporary oblivion.

I’m hoping Lucy and Kat were really voted men of the match.
That I didn’t cheer for the wrong side, reverse psychology, natch!
Is that my husband, did I forget the curry, why does he look so cross?
If Scotland end up beating England, I’ll know the plot is lost.
