Holcombe L2 3-2 Blackheath & Elthamians L2

Due to storm Jorge sweeping the south east In the morning we all set off early to make sure we got there early for our 3:30pm pushback.
We started off the first 10 minutes under quite a lot of pressure we managed to to turn things around with some good linking up play.
Our first goal was a interception from Beth who did a great pass into the D - Robyn shot and the keeper saved it but Netty was there for the rebound and scored!

We were 1 - 0 up going into the second half. The game was very even.
The opposition had an early short corner which they took advantage of and scored.
Shortly after we got a 2 short corners which Karen converted from a strike.

It started hailing and the temperature dropped about 10 degrees! ? We kept applying pressure which lead them to mistakes, but we could barely feel our hands!

The defence did some great tackles and transfers. We zoned out and Holcombe took advantage and intercepted the ball and equalised.

Unfortunately we let our guard down and they stepped up their game. Having not built on the other 2 goals Holcombe made another attack and got a deflection which made it 3-2.

Netty got player of the match for a great goal and distribution of the ball.
Robyn got TFC for missing the last 3 games to get married.
