BEHC L3 (1-0) Gravesend 1

Gravesend were slow to arrive but once on the pitch they brought a strong hard hitting game. We worked hard to keep our positions and play a fast moving game.

We reached half time with the score nil nil. We sustained periods of pressure with the defence keeping us in the game. Nu controlled the back with Frankie and Alice working hard alongside. We had some chance with Ria and Isla coming close to scoring.

In the Second half we got into the scoreboard - Kaitlyn calmly lifting the ball into the goal, after a skirmish in front of the goal.

Other good chances followed with Isla and Rebecca chances but we couldn’t convert. Daisy made some great attacking moves and passes to build attacks.

The midfield continued to work hard with Alex combing with Alice and Rachel to make the hockey triangles, and Kaitlyn causing trouble for their defence (and umpire!) and Emily using the space on the left.

Player of the match, Ellie, made a crucial last minute save to keep us in the lead and to bring home a great clean sheet!
Great team effort with some quality hockey.
