Edenbridge (4-2) Blackheath & Elthamians L3

An early start in a wet and miserable Edenbridge was the perfect scene for breaking our drawing streak.
Unfortunately a sluggish start meant we slipped behind to early goals from a super organised Edenbridge.
Their first two goals coming from slick short corners that we couldn't stop and a third goal late in the first half from open play.
A half time reset and we came out playing much better, with slick interplay between the midfield and forwards creating space on the counter attack, which Kaitlyn finished off to pull one back.
We continued to make more opportunities with Beth almost scoring a couple of times, unfortunately Edenbridge managed to extend their lead back to 3 goals once we had gone down to 10 players.
However we showed great fight to pull another goal back calmly finished by Beth.
Sadly there wasn't enough time for us to getting anymore.
Special mention to Karen for playing for us for most of the match even though she umpiring an hour later!
