Gravesend (3-1) BEHC 3’s

A strong Blackheath team descended on Gravesend determined to carry on where they left of last week.

Both teams started brightly but Gravesend took an early lead, after Ellie came out to close the Gravesend 9 who was clean on goal and they played around her.

This spurred heath on to raise their level and some great play from Daisy and Ria led to chances that flashed past the goal and we went into half time 1-0 down.

Into the second half an early goal from Beth slotting in at the back post after a deflection in the D helped us equalise and some top play at the back from Becca, Alice and Ellie helped keep it that way for a while.

Eventually Gravesend managed to break us down again with neat interplay in the D twice leaving us 3-1 down.
