Welcome to some new squad members. Kate, Ali, Hannah, Sofia and Sandra, we also had a couple of rouge Greenwich players who have joined the club over the summer, YEAH!!! they were doubling up as had previously played for the 2s in the morning so extra thanks to them! Daphne also played for us after completing a 10k run in the morning so she put us all to shame, me especially as I practically fell off the pitch in the final 10 mins as my legs went to jelly...the shame. It was fun watching on the side though, especially watching Carmel turn into a lioness in the closing moments trying to make it 4-0. Nicky could have added another 3 goals to our total as she was taking up Nats old role on the left goal, right place - wrong timing...valiant efforts though! Next time Nicky :-) Joint man of the match went to Sue and Ali who whipped up a storm on the wing. 2 goals were scored by Ali and one by Sue.! Finally big thanks to the men who came out to support us, it was lovely having supporters on the side line, I believe Nat actually got some photographic evidence of this! Fantastic start to the season lets keep up the good work.
