As a fairly recent newbie to the club, I feel can write from a fairlyneutral point of view. The club has welcomed me with open arms and the enthusiasm and positivity from the girls is infectious. You really can’t help but give it your all in the name of team sport and this Saturdays match for the 3s was no different.
Only just managed to scrape a team together and had a few injured team mates but the vitamin D from the glorious day seeped into our skin pores, filling us with optimism. We played a fairly strong first half with a few opportunities for shots on goal but the first half ended with us 1-0 down.
After our half time team talk complete with Percy pig tail sweets we felt re vitalised and ready for the second half and soon scored from a short corner by our man of the match Allie with a flick past the keeper into the goal 1-1!. With the energy pumping it didn’t take long for our second goal to appear 1-2! That high didn’t last long as BBHC equalised within minutes of the whistle blowing 2-2.
