The direction of travel is changing……
Having suffered some painful defeats, the direction of travel is changing.
From a 2-0 defeat two weeks ago and returning to a traditional formation, last weekend felt like a VICTORIOUS LOSS at 3-2 to BBHC.
11 energetic players and one hung-over sub later and we were flowing up and down the pitch with plenty of scoring opportunities.
We enjoyed a physical game and played faithfully to the whistle. Both our goals from Nat and Beth came in the 2nd half, within 5 minutes of each other.
If only we’d had more time to play……we were on a roll!
Thinking of which, the cheese and ham rolls for tea were tasty but not for a moment did our minds wander in the direction of food this week.
Man of the Match was a well deserved Beth and DOTD is still a mystery(see picture) but a possible own goal will give you a clue.
Special mention should go to Sandra, who nobly stepped in to GK kit and played a blinder.
And Angela who stepped out of the GK kit to umpire.
Onwards and upwards!
