Everyone pushed up and we kept our shape well with some excellent movement and passing. We communicated strongly and got into some good positions allowing for some great acting play. The hard work paid off and we were 1 up thanks to Claire quickly followed by another one (own goal). I managed to keep out some early shots on my goal but sadly succumbed and had soon let in 2 to level it at half time.

I don't know if it was the early pace or just general fitness but in the second half we were again a different team, running into each other’s space, no shape and definitely no communication. We battled hard but with the substitutions players found themselves in different positions and this made it difficult to replicate the form of the first half. All the hard work and running proved to be in vain and I managed to let in another 4 to end the game 6:2.

Once again another good effort from all, but we must stay positive and keep fighting to the end (we have all seen what lies in store for next season)
