VETS BEAT LAST SEASONS NEMESIS

Great performances from Prem, Mike E and Annette certainly made a difference. However, the return of Aidan and the overall team commitment made the overall performance very impressive.

The first goal came through Prem. The second from Simon after a build up by Lee, a perfect pass to Aidan who put it on the end of Simon's stick. Gore Court replied with a goal to end the half 2-1.

If we thought the opposition would flag given they had no subs - we were wrong. We're it not for a couple of good saves and a saved penalty flick by Annette the story could have been different.

Victory was sealed by Graham who (laid his nose on the line and) scored from a short corner after the final whistle.
