The score line doesn't says it all!

Sittingbourne are propping up the league without a win to their name. You might expect that they would turn up, reluctantly, expecting to lose again. Well, they didn’t!
As a development team they came with a big squad of youngsters. They started as they finished – looking to get some goals. There was never a time when the Highwaymen looked like losing but there were (too many) moments where the opposition look liked scoring, including 3 short corners on the trot in the first half. This is the reason that the Highwaymen MOM was Rupert Greaves in goal.
Our strength this week was the scoring duo of Matt Robinson (3), and David Linton (2) were back in the squad (unlike last week!) which allowed Ravi (1) and James Hatcher (1) to strike from the midfield.
Those were the “glory boys” but the team wouldn’t have won without the defensive and midfield units.
A n enjoyable game, played as hockey should be played and a well-deserved win.
