The only thing that really set this game apart from any other was:
- the regular stream of goals throughout the game.
- playing 2 goalkeepers - one in the out field, the other in goal.
Within the first 10 minutes Steve Bowles, usually our keeper but eager to test his newly drugged up body out field, showed it worked with the first two goals. Sevenoaks boys responded with two goals themselves. The Highwaymen responded with another two before half time from Gred Dowse and Matt Robinson.
A nasty head wound on one of the Sevenoaks defenders extended the second half by 20 minutes. [Fortunately No 60 (John B) was safely home via St Mary's Sidcup by tea-time.]
The second half saw a further 3 goals from Sevenoaks and a completion of hat-trick by Steve Bowles and Matt Robinson. Not to be out done James Hatcher and Chris Brown added a goal each.
Another enjoyable and competitive game played with a like-minded opposition Altogether a very satisfying day!!
Paul and Gary umpired seamlessly - thank you.
