A Blackheath Swift side mixing a number of new players with a few experienced heads, performed admirably in a tough opening tournament at Colfes.
Pitted against strong sides from Tunbridge Wells, Marden and Burnt Ash, the under-12 girls side held Burnt Ash and Marden's under-11s to goalless draws.
There were defeats to both Tunbridge Wells' sides, whose A side won all six of their games, and Marden's A string.
But the coup de grace came in the final game of the tournament. Facing their team mates - the Blackheath Falcons - they held back a swathe of attacks before storming forward to score and claim a famous 1-0 win and bragging rights when the two sides return to training on Sunday.
