The Lightnings started slowly against a dominant Brombecks team and although Anjie and Tamsin worked tirelessly, most of the game was played in their own half and they came out second best.
With heads dropping they were no match for the confident Falcons in the next match.
Their final game saw them pitted against the Sevenoaks First team.
The Lightnings dug in with Rebecca and Cleona putting them under pressure on the ball and Georgia, Anjie and Polly giving the team plenty of width.
Martha and Jolie were determined not to let Sevenoaks through and in the end the Lightnings came away with a well-earned draw.
Jolie was voted Player of the Day.
Although the results did not all go their way, there were plenty of positive moments that should give them confidence they can do well in the future.
