BEHC were not on form today. Despite the sunny weather and Ali having put her washing out and Sue stripping off (her goalie kit) it could not cast any light on the performance.

From the start the opposition came out fighting. The BEHC defenders including Onali tried in vain to keep them at bay but soon run out of powe as they were completely overrun even Charlotte took a shiner by throwing herself in front of the ball.

There were moments of our usual play with a few close chances by Sue and Anna.

A frustrating first half saw BEHC 2-0 down with faces to match their shirts.

The usual talking to by Sandie and Fenno regarding urgency and marking did show BEHC looking like a goal was forthcoming in the second half with some great attempts by Izzy and Claire.

However despite Ellie saving a great deal of shots and a fab clear off the line from Ciara Dartford put the pressure on which led to another goal.

Player of the matches went to Arabella and Emily for putting in the effort and doing their best against a determined opponent.

Wally of the week was Ciara for having to go home for her water bottle that she forgot on the hottest day of the year so far.
