As most of us have seen over this uneven season, BEs have had some inconsistency with starting fast and furiously, preferring to finish furiously. Today, despite digging deeper into their own personal elite-athlete territory, BEs could not finish with the flourish required to win. BBs were constant in attack, scoring first, then another. 2-0 rang the Pavlovian bell for BEs who doggedly chased and tackled resulting in a short corner, then a goal, a beauty by Nat, 2-1. BEs furiously fought to equalise and made some excellent moves to get a shot at goal, then another but the cleared ball was sent high to BBs who scored their third.
