Diamonds are known to last forever but are also known to degrade on intense bombardment. Some of that degradation began to appear as GE tackled and battled against the many facets of Diamond play. But despite being a player down, Diamonds were their own best friends as they hit, shimmied and jimmied up the pitch, blinding the oppo with acceleration, determination and mind over physical deterioration. In answer to GE’s four goals, Diamonds scattered six amongst the mid/forward line-one by Netty, two by Amanda and three by Gina, all corkers. All played so very well, Heidi was superb. However, Amanda was chosen as Wally of the Match for leaving us for a jewellery box far, far away. Player of the Match went to Gina.
Final Score Blackheath 6-4.
