BEHC M2 continue their home dominance

The club chairman and founder of the Underground Cheese quiz began the build up with the request to name our dream viral event. Here was the birth of MOM’s Bottomless Selfie Tasting and yours truly DOD candlelit cocktail festival.

We lined up in honour of Armistice day, embraced, united and equipped with poppies. Two minutes silence to remember, lest we forget.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

The scoresheet opened up by the freshly tattooed lothario. Fowler’s defining move down the left across goal and inserts gently through keepers legs, self reporting “the keeper didn’t see it coming” 1-0

St Crispins efforts to channel the Maidstone forward was futile, one on one with Cocktail time on top D pushed left only get a deflection on the baseline to concede. 1-1 , devastation by Prem that the Candlelit Cocktail Festival can score a better deflection than him.

The second goal came from Sam, despite remembering his shoes this week he continued to imitate Bambi on ice struggling to stay on his feet, The deflection in front of keeper took us into the lead 2-1

With silky smooth moves by the Lathario, he danced his way around the opposition, left, right onto his reverse an extra step to be sure, it feels good he’s there, he shoots... it’s in... only to have the disappointment that he was not inside and his carefully packaged delivery will not add to the brood.

A scrappy short corner via Oli and 3 defenders, the last touch was a defenders foot. A classic well planned out routine 3-1

The author of the Boozy Bacon Quiz Oliver Ivens sizzles Luke’s shot and thrusts the team to 4-1.

This day shall be memorable.
The team changed in the rugby club. The spirit of the clubs united, Boozy Bacon overtaken by the spirit of BE rugby as he tackled the Maidstone defender leaving him on the ground wondering which sport he was playing. Green card sees the Bacon on the side for two minutes taking us down to 10 men. We were not shaken as we held on for the victory.

“These wounds I had on Crispin's day
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember, with advantages,
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names, familiar in his mouth as household words”,
Bottomless Selfie Tasting and Candlelit cocktail festivals will also be remembered.
