Solid Opening Day

This was an important fixture for a new look 3s this year, as not only was it a chance for some new faces to show what they could do against a team that we will be playing later this year.

And prove a few points they did. What followed as a dominant display. The new look front line of Jake Lamplough, Will Tate, David Collington and Nick Surry were a constant thorn in the side of Burnt Ash, and with the defense expertly marshalled by James Goldsmith and Matt Wilde, the opposition didn't really threaten at all.

Goals from Jake Lamplough and Chris Brown capped a fine performance, and to be honest, all of the guys up front would have been disappointed not to get themselves off the mark for this campaign.

A very positive start to the season. Poor old Sam Hannon had nothing to do. Well done boys. We move onto the next one.
