3s Push Back Gravesham

I was sort of hoping that my VC, Tom Cleall, would write this report. However, he hasn't yet (to be fair - he is very busy) - so once again you are left with what will be a very brief and boring description of this one.

Once again, the 3s dominated this one and had at least 4 clear cut chances before J-Lamp would cap his excellent start to the season with another goal. Is he a must pick for Fantasy Hockey. I think so. To be fair, Gravesham didn't really threaten in the first half at all, and by half time, I was super confident that we would go on and win this one by four or five.

That didn't quite transpire, and although the 2nd came relatively quickly from a short corner, expertly hit in by the outstanding MoM James Goldsmith, we didn't covert anything further, and at times did come under a bit of pressure. If not for a couple of saves by Sam, and a great clearance off the line by Goldy again and it could have been different. That said - we were deserved winners and with new boy Prem Marwaha in the midfield and Will Tate, J-Lamp and Dave Collington, we were always creating opportunities.

I'm a little concerned that we're not converting our chances enough. But this was a must win, and win it we did. Solid at the back once again. Well done boys. Let's keep it going, and lets be fierce in front of goal because there will be harder matches to come.
