Blackheath all assemble on the side of the pitch to get ourselves in the zone with tunes blasting for the big match against Brom Becks. Laughs were shared over Stans white kit appearance and Emma’s fake tanned foot ?.

We had a slow start to the match and some unfortunate calls against us in the first half - including 2 disallowed goals (with some very controversial umpiring) !! We lost a bit of focus and despite the fact that we had majority possession - we managed to slip back 1-0 in the first half as Brom Becks got a lucky shot corner rebound from the right post.

We put our heads down and our determination paid off. Some great passes up the wings from the Vickys who were finding the spaces. Some lovely balls through from the back, and Emma played some silky skills and scored an amazing reverse stick shot - hitting back right corner. 1-1 it was. We had multiple close shots following this and we were dominating. Another goal was slipped across goal by Emma and slotted in by Nell mid way through the second half. We held our ground for the last tense minutes of the game to secure the 2-1 win to Blackheath.
