It was a windy home game for the BEHC women on Saturday, the oppo being Tunbridge Wells. Going in with 12.5 players and losing 1 after the second half was an anticipated struggle however the girls showed resilience and fought hard to avoid concession and get some goals. With some good breakdown play from Kathryn at the back and link up play between the team we managed to catch tunbridge off guard. The scoreline was representative of the game of tennis we were playing with some back and forth play for a while but we managed to gain a few short corners which were close but unfortunately unsuccessful. The game ended 0-0, although it wasn’t a win we still gained another point and finished off with some amazing brownies (courtesy of Jilly) and some cake from Nicole to celebrate 3 birthdays in the last week (Sally, Kyveli and Nicole). Honourable mentions to Nicole’s little lie down on the pitch and Alex’s failed attempt at defending.
MOM: Alex (for not messing up as much as normal)
DOD: Alex (also for god knows what reason?)
