Second trip to Folkestone this half of the season. A cold 8 degrees (felt like -3) started us off with chilly hands and everything to play for.

BEHC started strong with majority possession. With Nicole being dragged to the floor within the first 5 mins, Marnie leaving with a big bruise and several other injuries throughout the game, it ended up being quite a brutal one. We had lots of space on the wings and made some great passes down the line and into the D.

A goal from BEHC on the first short corner scored by a straight strike from Annie, put us off to a good start before the second half.

A great team talk from Fenno at half time gave us everything we needed to go out and get the victory. Starting the second half as we did the first, we stayed strong and scored another short corner, slapped in from Stan and deflected in by Vicky.

Spirits were high with only 13 mins to go, until Folkestone got two short corners within 5 mins, scoring both.

BEHC fought hard in the last 8 mins to claw a goal back but we couldn’t quite get the win. Overall a good game and we are ready for the win next week!!
